How Daytona State College Used PTF Scripts for System Validation

After a system refresh or update, customers must spend considerable amount of time validating whether the basic system functionality (such as Ping test, COBOL process, SQR process, log in/log out) works. This validation usually involves someone logging into the system and manually checking each of the functionality. To streamline this process, Daytona State College (DSC) worked with ERPA to automate the validation of system post-refresh or post-update – now one click results in a summarized report at the end of testing.

Technical and subject experiences Saad Mohammed and Sneha Lattupally will walk users through how PeopleSoft Testing Framework (PTF) scripts are used to automate system validation and will be available to answer questions after their presentation and brief demo.
